Shark Week! SWC welcomed Dr. Bryan Franks, Associate Professor of Marine Science, and the Director of the Marine Science Research Institute at Jacksonville University.  Dr. Franks shared with members his expert knowledge of all things sharks, including why they are important to the ocean ecosystem, how to determine where they are located to reduce the risk of a bite, and the Ocearch shark tagging program.
