We were pleased to welcome Marcus Haile, CEO of the Literary Alliance of Northeast Florida. In Florida, one in four adults cannot read and understand enough to complete a form. The mission of the Literary Alliance is to increase literary awareness and improve adult literacy through tutoring and formal instruction. Mr. Haile gave us a great insight into the need in our area to help adults learn to read and improve their quality of life.
