November Membership Program

On a day that marks both the Marine Corps Birthday and the eve of Veterans Day, the Sawgrass Women’s Club is deeply honored to welcome one of our own. Quang X. Pham, a Sawgrass Country Club, will join us to share a profoundly moving story about family resilience, the immigrant experience, and the true meaning of home. In April 1975, ten-year-old Quang stepped off an evacuation flight from Saigon into an American refugee camp with his mother and three sisters. Quang went on to graduate from UCLA, made history by becoming the first Vietnamese American naval aviator in the U.S. Marine Corps, served in two conflicts, and later led a biotech company through an IPO on Nasdaq. But Quang’s presentation focuses on the quiet heroes of his journey: the fierce mother who sacrificed everything, the communities that opened their arms, and the courage and perseverance required to plant new roots after losing nearly everything overnight. We invite you to come early for coffee and socializing at 10:00 a.m. and join us in welcoming our neighbor for a memorable morning of inspiration, gratitude, and community connection.

Registration closes November 6th. Questions? Contact Shellie Iossa at michelle.iossa@gmail.com
