March Membership Program

Jay Smith, Development & Grants Manager, will present an engaging talk on the rich history of the St. Augustine Lighthouse. The St. Augustine Lighthouse is a 150 year old historical structure, located in America’s oldest city and a short distance from Sawgrass. This beautifully preserved lighthouse has a long and interesting history. Our guest speaker from the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, Inc. will share many wonderful facts about lighthouses and the significance of this lighthouse in the growth of the shrimping industry as well as its importance during WWII. This event is for members only and is limited to 140 members.  Reservations are required so that we can prepare seating.  Registration closes on March 14th.
