About the Event
The #1 reason people live in Ponte Vedra and visit the area is the beach! Yet Ponte Vedra is one of the only beach communities in the entire state of Florida without a nourishment program. The Ponte Vedra coastline is being left to erode away. The economics of Ponte Vedra’s beach is significant to the businesses and residents of St Johns and surrounding counties.
Our speakers, Lori Moffett and Beth Angelo, lifelong residents, are the founding members of Friends of Ponte Vedra. Founded in 2019, their Political Action Committee has already had a major impact on the politics of St Johns County. They will update us on some of the progress they have made and what they are actively working on. This will surely be an eye-opening presentation. In their words, “Enough is Enough”.
